a well-loved destination for those seeking beautiful, stylish

The tradition of “family” is held dear with a strong ethos of staff becoming well known and trusted by the regular customers and many will pop in for a coffee and chat (and take a peek at what’s new!) whenever they happen to pass by. Customers become friends. Having the two stores, one in Hellifield and the other in the bustling marketplace of Settle, means that Ahernes can offer choice to appeal across the age ranges and to suit every occasion – from country wear and casual to formal and occasion wear. And every customer gets the personal service they require. Our Settle shop specialises in a more relaxed and unstructured
look and our Hellifield shop, at over 4000 square feet of retail
space, has something for everyone, including menswear
and ladies occasion wear. At Ahernes we offer the kind of service that could be said to be
“old fashioned” but we do so without apology – it has served the business (and our happy customers) well for many generations
