The Signal Box is now run as a small working museum dedicated to mechanical-era railway signalling on the Settle-Carlisle Railway.

It is staffed and maintained by a small group of dedicated volunteers and is open to the public on a regular basis (between 10am and 4pm most Saturdays and at other times by appointment).
